STRIP DETECTING SENSOR HOLDING DEVICE OF SLIT COIL WINDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip detecting sensor holding device for properly maintaining the positional relationship between a non-contacting type separator and a strip in accordance with the winding diameter of a reel.

SOLUTION: A first bracket 11 is fixed to a separator frame 3, a main pin 12 is fixed to the distal end of the bracket and a second bracket 13 is mounted freely turnably to the main pin. A lever 14 is mounted freely turnably to the upper part of the first bracket 11, a roller 15 is provided on the upper end of the lever and a cam plate 16 which is brought into rolling contact with the roller is provided. A first arm 17 is fixed to the lower part of the lever 14, a second arm 18 is fixed to the distal end of a second bracket and a link 19 is connected between the first and the second arms. A fixed gear 20 is fixed to the main pin 12 and the even number of the turning gears 21 which are engaged with the fixed gear and engaged with each other are mounted freely turnably on the second bracket. A sensor mounting plate 23 is fixed to the lowest turning gear.
