<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting module for efficiently utilizing light emitted from a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: In the light emitting module 60, a semiconductor light emitting element 14 includes a first light emitting surface 14a and a second light emitting surface 14b bordering the first light emitting surface 14a. An optical wavelength conversion member 64 converts a wavelength of light emitted from the light emitting element 14 and emits the converted light, wherein the optical wavelength conversion member 64 is plate-shaped and is disposed such that an incident surface of the optical wavelength conversion member faces the first light emitting surface 14a. A reflecting member 62 is disposed at a position facing the incident surface 64a of the optical wavelength conversion member 64. The reflecting member 62 is formed of silicon. A reflecting surface 62c of the reflecting member 62 is inclined to be spaced from the second light emitting surface 14b such that a distance between the reflecting surface and the second light emitting surfaces is gradually increased toward the incident surface of the optical wavelength conversion member 64 and opposes the second light emitting surface 14b. A vertical surface 62d of the reflecting member 62 extends vertically to the first light emitting surface 14a at a position more spaced from the optical wavelength conversion member 64 than from the reflecting surface 62c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
