<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a display method capable of improving the operability of a plurality of pieces of selectable information without interrupting a content screen with is viewed presently. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display mode control part which controls screen transition to a full screen display mode of displaying an image on the entire screen of a display part, a plural content display mode of displaying a plurality of thumbnail images regarding a content on the screen, or a panel display mode of displaying a panel for displaying information on the content on the screen; and a panel shape determination part which determines a shape of the panel based on the content displayed on the panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
