<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and to efficiently use channels. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission apparatus can cope with a plurality of transmission modes of different occupancy frequency bands within a channel. When user setting information indicates reduction in power consumption, on the condition where a transmission rate required for transmitting digital information is satisfied, a coordinator determines a transmission mode of a narrower occupancy frequency band. On the condition where the transmission rate required for transmitting the digital information is satisfied so as to utilize a channel adjacent to a predetermined channel in the transmission of the digital information from another transmission apparatus, the coordinator changes the transmission mode of a wider occupancy frequency band to the transmission of a narrower occupancy frequency band for transmission on the predetermined channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
