PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, in a conventional current sensor in which a means for applying a bias magnetic field enhancing uniaxial anisotropy of a magnetoresistance effect element and contributing to stability of magnetic field detection operation to the magnetoresistance effect element is arranged near the magnetoresistance effect element, a stable bias magnetic field cannot be applied to the magnetoresistance effect element owing to an influence of a magnetic field to be measured from a primary conductor.
SOLUTION: In the current sensor, since a U-shaped forming part of the primary conductor for applying the magnetic field to be measured to the magnetoresistance effect element has a structure connected to each connection conductor part through a step part, the bias magnetic field to be applied to the magnetoresistance effect element from a bias magnetic field application means can be stably secured, even in a small-sized primary conductor, and a small-sized high-precision and stable current sensor can be acquired.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
