<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine storage apparatus for managing patient's medication period through massage transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a medicine storage apparatus, and more particularly, to a medicine storage apparatus having a function of storing medicines and a function of notifying the medication times, and enabling an external administrator to manage whether a patient requiring periodic medications has taken medicine over a network. The medicine storage apparatus capable of managing patient's medication period through an SMS (short message service) transmission, includes: a power source 110 for supplying a power source; a display unit (video unit 192) for displaying medication times for the medicines and temperature and humidity within the medicine storage casing; an audio unit 191 for informing the medication times on a periodic basis; a timer 160 for setting the medication times on a periodic basis and outputting the medication times through the audio unit 191 or the display unit (video unit 192); an SMS transmission module 170 for transmitting an SMS to an administrator over a wireless communication network when there is no open signal, using the open signal as a medication signal; and a control unit 190 for performing an overall control operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
