<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high-strength copper alloy containing Ti in place of a copper alloy containing Be. <P>SOLUTION: A copper alloy containing, by mass, 0.05-4% Ti and 0.01-0.7% Cr is melted at the temperature TM(°C) and higher obtained from formula (1), and then, solidified to form a cast slab. In the cast slab, the area in the section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is≥100 times the area in the section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of a final product. TM=TL+20[Ti]+150[Cr]+90: (1), where in formula, TL denotes the liquidus temperature (°C) obtained from specified formula, and each element symbol denotes the content (mass%) of each element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
