PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for displaying an image having improved visibility. SOLUTION: The display device 2 to be mounted on a head or in front of a face includes: a display part 16 for displaying the display image; an eyepiece optical system 22 for projecting the display image displayed in the display part to the observer's eyeballs; an imaging part 26 for imaging object light passing through an imaging optical system; and an image processing part 50 for correcting color elements of the display image displayed in the display part based on color elements of the image imaged by the imaging part, wherein an object-side focus position of the imaging optical system and a virtual focus position where the user views the display image through the eyepiece optical system are nearly the same.
