PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which automatically switches charge modes of electronic apparatuses. SOLUTION: This connecting device connectable with the electronic apparatuses which contains chargeable power accumulation bodies and charges the power accumulating bodies in a plurality of charge modes includes: a connector connected with electric signal lines to which the electronic apparatuses are connected, and which are used in the exchange of electric signals with the electronic apparatuses, and power supply lines used for charging in the plurality of charge modes; and a signal output part which outputs, to the connector, pseudo extraction signals for making the electronic apparatuses recognize that an electronic connection between the electronic apparatuses and the connector is released and the connection becomes effective after the lapse of a prescribed time, and charge mode selection signals to be referenced when the electronic apparatuses having received the pseudo extraction signals select the charge modes.
