PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that drives with very small power and fuel consumption through effective utilization of the magnetic force of a permanent magnet. SOLUTION: The driver includes two rectangular parallelepiped magnets horizontally arranged in parallel with the direction of traveling on both sides thereof, a mover having wheels or other running means, and a fixed body having multiple rod-like magnets placed sideways in parallel at equal intervals on a long and thin substrate. Each of the rod-like magnets has a yoke of pure iron or the like at both ends and rails for the running means on both sides of the substrate. When the mover is stacked over the fixed body, the two magnets provided in the mover are orthogonal to the outside of each yoke at both ends of the magnets on the substrate of the fixed body and their opposite surfaces are heteropolar.
