SOUND ISOLATION SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR ACTIVE MASS DAMPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound isolation supporting device for an active mass damper, which shuts off noise vibration (solid propagation sound) to be transmitted into a building from a vibration control device efficiently. SOLUTION: In this sound isolation supporting device for the active mass damper, an elastic member 5 for transmitting the vibration having such frequency that damps vibration in the building 2 and shutting off the vibration having such frequency that is higher than the damping frequency and causes noise in a room in the building 2 among the vibrations to be transmitted onto a floor surface 3 of the building 2 from the vibration control device 4 is provided between the vibration control device 4 installed on the floor surface 3 of the building 2 and moving weight within a horizontal plane to damp vibration in the building 2 and the floor surface 3 of the building 2 on which the vibration control device 4 is installed. The elastic member 5 is formed by polyurethane elastomer. Since the elastic member 5 made of polyurethane elastomer has high damping characteristics in a high frequency region, this sound isolation supporting device can efficiently shut off the noise vibration (solid propagation sound) to be transmitted onto the floor surface 3 of the building 2 from the vibration control device 4.
