Disclosed is a coating composition for sliding members, which is characterized by comprising 100 parts by mass of a film-forming organic resin, 30 to 120 parts by mass of a solid lubricant, and 5 to 80 parts by mass of a silicone resin. When a coating film of the coating composition for sliding members is formed on a surface of a sliding member, long-lasting low frictional resistance can be imparted to the surface of the sliding member, and the adhesion of the sliding member to a smooth surface such as a glass surface can be prevented.
