An intelligent dialing method and an intelligent dialing terminal are provided. The method involves: receiving a called number inputted from a user by a terminal, and inquiring home address information of the called number; obtaining home address information of the terminal number and telecom operator information of the terminal number; deciding calling type according to the home address information of the called number and that of the terminal number; according to the corresponding relation information between a stored dialing prefix and the telecom operator and the calling type, extracting a dialing prefix corresponding to the telecom operator and the calling type of the terminal number; and combining the extracted dialing prefix and the called number into a target number and calling.
