<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent background lack, even when the position of a subject is varied. <P>SOLUTION: An image-capturing apparatus continues focusing the subject by continuous scanning operation, based on the size and position of the subject detected by the operation for detecting the subject to be focused. The apparatus is provided with a control means for controlling so as to normally perform the scanning operation, when the size of the detected subject is changed, and to change the scanning operation, when the position of the detected subject is carried; and thereby scanning operation is prevented, while an AF frame is in a state of being outside the subject, due to varying of the position of the subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
