PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for restraining manufacturing cost, and reducing weight in a blower. SOLUTION: This blower 1 has an electric motor 6 arranged coaxially with an outer cylinder 2, an impeller 5 having a plurality of blades 5b installed on the tip of a rotary shaft of the electric motor 6, a suction casing 8 opposed via a predetermined clearance to the tip of the blades 5b of the impeller 5, and a delivery casing 9 arranged on the downstream side of the impeller 5 and provided with a plurality of guide vanes 10 for guiding air discharged from the impeller 5. The electric motor 6 is arranged on an electric motor base 12 installed on the outer cylinder 2, and the suction casing 8 is arranged between a suction side cover 16 arranged in a suction side end part of the outer cylinder 2 and the electric motor base 12, and the delivery casing 9 is arranged between a delivery side cover 18 arranged in a delivery side end part of the outer cylinder 2 and the electric motor base 12.
