PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unlocking system for vending machines which is easily introduced later even to an already installed vending machine, has a simple system configuration and high security and is easy to introduce and highly convenient. SOLUTION: The unlocking system includes: a vending machine having a function of electronically locking a door opening operation by a system separated from a physical lock; a combined key resulting from combining an authentication terminal having a short-distance wireless communication function and the physical lock; a short-distance wireless communication means provided in the vending machine; a control means which compares and collates a receiving terminal ID and a stored terminal ID with each other and electronically unlocking the door opening operation in response to coincidence between them; and a second communication means. The terminal ID and a door ID are transmitted to a prescribed data management center by the second communication means, and history data are generated from transmitted data and the like, and a monitoring operation is performed simultaneously to ensure the security of the vending machine to be managed.
