PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for holding a display retained on an external cover without applying a strong pressure to a display panel, with respect to the display in which the display panel and a display protecting plate are integrated. SOLUTION: The structure for holding the display has a fixing member for fixing the display protecting plate of the display-protecting plate incorporated type display to the non-appearance surface side of the external cover, with respect to a display-protecting plate incorporated type display which includes: the display panel; the display protecting plate having light-transmissive property for protecting the display surface side of the display panel and a transparent member arranged in the adhesion state between the display panel and the display protecting plate; and the external cover with an opening window having a size substantially equal to the size of a light-transmissive part of the display protecting plate.
