PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal member which can secure high safety against a heavy load applied on a working platform, and a working platform which uses the horizontal members to increase the number of legs and also the number of work floor supports without increasing the number of support columns. SOLUTION: The working platform 1 includes a highly rigid frame-shaped horizontal member 11 to significantly increase the strength of the working platform 1, thereby a sufficient safety is secured against a heavy load when a heavy working machine is placed thereupon. Furthermore, the horizontal member 11 is provided to the lowest stage, and a lower side projection 33 and the lower end of the support column 5 are used as legs, allowing the number of legs to be increased easily. Furthermore, a horizontal member 11 is set to the upper-most stage of the plurality of horizontal members 11, 13, allowing the upper end of the support column 5 and upper side projection 31 to support the work floor 59. Then, the upper side projection 31 of the horizontal member 11, besides the upper end of the support column 5, serves as the work floor supports, increasing the number thereof.
