PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pile joint device which is composed of a small number of components and which enables firm connection without the risk of disconnection. SOLUTION: This joint device connects upper and lower piles 1a and 1b together by fixedly holding an end plate 12a attached to a lower end of the upper pile 1a and an end plate 12b attached to an upper end of the lower pile 1b, in the state of making the end plates 12a and 12b abut on each other. The end plates 12a and 12b are provided with tapered surfaces 12a (1) and 12b (1) which are annularly elongated outward from lower ends of the upper and lower piles 1a and 1b, respectively; and top and under surfaces of the tapered surfaces 12a (1) and 12b (1) are locked and held from top and under surfaces of them by split rings 16a and 16b movably attached toward a peripheral edge portion of the end plate from an inner peripheral surface of a joint ring 14 externally fitted to peripheral edges of them.
