GARBAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which does not diffuse malodor into a room outside the apparatus even if new garbage is additionally introduced during drying of garbage. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus comprises a garbage treatment container 21 for storing garbage; a throwing cover 32 for opening or closing the garbage treatment container 21 and throwing garbage through; an adsorption deodorization part 36 for removing malodorous components generated from the garbage by adsorption; a suction channel 39 for joining the garbage treatment container 21 to the upstream side of the adsorption deodorization part 36; a gas discharge channel 41 for joining the downstream side of the adsorption deodorization part 36 to the outside; and a suction means 44 installed in the gas discharge channel 41: and the suction means 44 carries out suctioning operation for a prescribed duration corresponding to the opening operation of the throwing cover 32 to suction air of the garbage treatment container 21 through the suction channel 39 and the adsorption deodorization part 36 and discharges the air outside the apparatus.
