PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor and air-cooled helium compression equipment having reliability and safety, by improving heat resistance and the cooling effect. SOLUTION: This hermetic compressor is provided for storing a compressor part and a motor part having a coil end part and composed of a stator and a rotor, in a sealed vessel, and is constituted so as to discharge a working medium discharged in the sealed vessel from a discharge port of the compressor part to the outside of the sealed vessel from a discharge pipe arranged in the sealed vessel after passing through the coil end part. The motor part is also constituted of a coil part, a lead wire, an insulating film for wrapping a connection part of the coil part and the lead wire, a binding string for binding the coil part and a varnish material for insulting and covering a coil part surface. The connection part of the coil part and the lead wire is arranged in the coil end part in the vicinity of the discharge pipe, and a heat resistant material of a specification of the heat resistant temperature of 155°C or a specification of 180°C is used for a component of the motor part.
