Disclosed is a mobile body trajectory identification system for identifying with high precision which mobile body a detected trajectory is associated with even if there are frequent discontinuities in a trajectory of a mobile body that has been detected within a track range. Here, a set of trajectory-join candidate/identification information pairs that combine a trajectory-join candidate, which is a combination of trajectories of mobile bodies detected in a past fixed period of time, with identification information for the mobile bodies, where the set satisfies predetermined conditions, is generated as a hypothesis. Next, identification information likelihoods, which are the likelihoods of detection of identification information for trajectories that are represented by trajectory-join candidates in trajectory-join candidate/identification information pairs belonging to selected individual hypotheses, are calculated. Identification information likelihoods are merged to each pair of trajectory-join candidate and identification information, and thereby, the identification information likelihood related to the selected hypothesis is calculated. On the basis of the identification information likelihoods for the hypotheses, the most likely hypothesis is estimated. |
