RECHARGEABLE BATTERY AND BATTERY MODULE

PURPOSE: A rechargeable battery is provided to improve heat dissipation, to increase output per unit weight, and to facilitate the combination and assembly of a battery module. CONSTITUTION: A rechargeable battery comprises an electrode group(10) having one or more terminals(31,32), a case(20) having a recess(21) accommodating the electrode group and an opening of which one side is opened in order to pass through the electrode group; a film cover(40) which extends to the opening and fixes the electrode group within the recess; and a heat-dissipating member(23) which is positioned at the case and extends from the case to the outside in order to disspate heat from the recess.
