METHOD AND APPARATUS OF DOWNLOADING FIRMWARE IMAGE FOR ZIGBEE NODES

PURPOSE: A method for downloading a firmware image with a plurality of Zigbee node performing a serial communication and is inserted in a multi node device. CONSTITUTION: A method for downloading a firmware image with a plurality of Zigbee node and a device thereof are comprises as follows. The zigbee nodes are mounted in a plurality of slots and include a boot roader recording space in the plurality of zigbee node. A multi roader device forms each zigbee node and a serial communication path. The multi roader is connected to a worker terminal through a master device. The master device forms a serial communication path through a multi roader about each zigbee node when firmware image data download request about the zigbee node mounted on the slots exists. The worker terminal records a firmware image data through a roader with a serial communication broadcasting method of zigbee nodes. A response message from the plurality of zigbee node according to the operation is transmitted to a master device(102) through the multi roader device(104). If only one among the zigbee nodes received an abnormal response message, the broadcasting method is restarted.
