<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a service provision status of an image formation system while network connection for operating the image formation system is kept as it is without changing a connection configuration or the like without installing a testing device, and without performing test packet transmission work by a user. <P>SOLUTION: In this print control device 303, image data of a setting list with a setting state of the print control device including a setting state of a service to be recorded therein are generated to be outputted by the image formation device 308. In the image formation device 308, a printed setting list is read; the setting state of the print control device 303 is recognized from the read image data; a diagnosis packet of the service is transmitted to the print control device 303 via a global network 301 based on the setting state of the print control device; the reception of a response packet from the print control device to the diagnosis packet is monitored; and the state of the print control device 303 is diagnosed based on the reception monitoring result of the response packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
