<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner increasing a volume of discharge of fine droplets discharged from an electrostatic atomizer to an indoor space by an inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a casing with an air suction port and an air blowout port, a heat exchanger arranged in the casing, a blower fan blowing indoor air heat-exchanged with the heat exchanger from the air blowout port, and the electrostatic atomizer discharging the fine droplets to the indoor space. The electrostatic atomizer includes a Peltier element condensing water in the air, a water absorption material to which condensed water is supplied from the Peltier element, and a voltage application device applying a voltage to the water absorption material. The water absorption material includes a discharge part discharging the fine droplets by the application of the voltage by the voltage application device, and a water conveying part supplying the water supplied from the Peltier element to the discharge part.
