<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay management device capable of preventing degradation of quality of content without making a user carry out a complicated setting. <P>SOLUTION: The relay management devices (first relay management device 11 and second relay management device 21) are provided in a home network system 1 with a plurality of DLNA-compliant devices including a server device for distributing contents and a reproducing device for reproducing the content distributed by the server device to relay and manage communication among the DLNA-compliant devices. A UPnP packet containing device information about the DLNA-compliant devices which is transmitted from the DLNA-compliant devices is analyzed, to acquire device information contained in the UPnP packet. When video sound content is streaming-distributed to the reproducing device from the server device, the device information about the server device and the reproducing device is set to conduct QoS control over communication between the server device and the reproducing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
