WATER-LIFTABLE FIBER STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-liftable fiber structure excellent in a water-liftable function exhibiting a water-liftable height of 50 cm or above in a water-liftable head difference. SOLUTION: In the fiber structure having a dense continuous layer forming continuous fine pores having voids in which void width between fibers is 1 to 20μm by pressing and adhering a spunbond nonwoven cloth comprising a polyester long fiber and characterized in that the effective porosity of the continuous layer is 10 to 100%, the water-liftable fiber structure is characterized in that the surface of the fiber is subjected to resin treatment with a hydrophilic polyester and the water-liftable head difference under an atmospheric pressure is 50 cm or above.
