PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable mechanism for a mobile terminal including a structure for smoothly performing posture change between the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction. SOLUTION: This movable mechanism for the mobile terminal includes a fixed plate 8, an intermediate body 11 and a turning plate 9 including guide rails 21 in order to slide a movable housing being one side of a pair of housings superposed on each other with respect to a fixed housing being the other side, and change over the posture of the movable housing between a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction with respect to the fixed housing by the turning of the movable housing. A slide groove 32 and a turning groove 33 are formed on the turning plate 9, the turning groove 33 is formed into a nearly S-shaped form, and a guide pin 27 arranged on the turning plate 9 side moves in the slide groove 32, whereby the slide of the movable housing is guided, and the guide pin 27 moves in the nearly-S-shaped turning groove 33, whereby the movable housing is changed over from the longitudinal direction to the lateral direction.
