PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for objectively evaluating and displaying cosmetic effects and designing cosmetics in the evaluation of cosmetic effects for evaluating a sensation when a cosmetic is used, a sensation after its use, and a sensation in the first morning after its use. SOLUTION: In the evaluation of cosmetic effects for evaluating a sensation when a cosmetic is used, a sensation after its use, and a sensation in the first morning after its use, the method for evaluating cosmetic effects; a cosmetic effect mapping method; and a cosmetic design method use two types or more of evaluation items selected from a rich sensation; a permeating sensation; a soft sensation; a firm sensation; and a moist sensation created by a multi-variate analysis and/or statistic technique.
