METHOD FOR PERMANENT WAVE TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for permanent wave treatment, which maintains wave shape in a dry state for a long time without loosening wave even when dried even in hair having a lot of damage. SOLUTION: The method for forming a permanent wave in hair includes steps of: applying a first agent for the permanent wave containing a reducing agent and volatile alkali agent to the hair; winding hair to which the first agent for the permanent wave is applied around a first rod having a smaller diameter than a corresponding diameter for waving the hair in a desired shape; leaving the hair to which the first agent for the permanent wave has been applied for a predetermined time to make the first agent for the permanent wave penetrate into the hair; and a step of applying a second agent for the permanent wave containing an oxidant to the hair wound around the second rod.
