PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receipt printer which can collect paper sheets under being used before the occurrence of poor transfer and feed the paper of the other hopper automatically, and then continue a processing operation of receipt issuing. SOLUTION: The receipt printer includes paper sheet delivery means 8, 9 and 10 for respective hoppers 5, 6 and 7 storing paper sheets 2, 3 and 4, respectively, wound in the shape of roll, and paper rewinding means 11, 12 and 13. The total length of already-cut paper sheets 58 is measured on a downstream-side paper sheets transfer route 19 for leading the paper sheets to a receipt outlet 18, and the presence or absence of the occurrence of poor transfer is predicted by comparing the total length with the total length of the paper sheets to be cut in an appropriate state. While collecting the paper under usage to the hopper by operating the paper sheet rewinding means of the hopper selected at the point in the case that the occurrence of poor transfer is predicted, the paper under usage is collected before the occurrence of poor transfer by operating the paper sheet delivery means by selecting one of other hoppers, and the processing operation of receipt issuing is continued by automatically feeding the paper of the other hopper.
