PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade that stably cuts a material to be cut while sufficiently ensuring rigidity even if the blade thickness is formed very thin. SOLUTION: The cutting blade has a circular thin-plate shaped base material 1 formed by dispersing abrasive grains 3 in a resin phase, and a cutting edge 1A formed at the outer peripheral edge of the base material 1. The cutting edge 1A cuts a material to be cut while the base material 1 is rotated around the axis. A first cloth layer 4, including a net-like member 4A having strength exceeding that of the resin phase, is formed at the center part in the thickness direction of the base material 1.
