The transmission has four planetary gear sets (P1-P4) i.e. minus-planetary gear sets, arranged in a housing (G). A drive shaft (1) is connected to a sun gear of one of sets and to a web of the other set. An internal gear of third set is connected to a third shaft (4) that is coupled to the housing via a brake (04). An output shaft (2) is detachably connected to fourth shaft (7) via a clutch (27), where the brake and the clutch are engaged to produce different transmission ratios between the drive and output shafts. The fourth shaft is connected to the internal gear of the fourth set.
