The transmission has four planetary gear sets (P1-P4) arranged in a housing (G), and a first shaft (3) connected to a drive shaft (1) via a first clutch (13). The first shaft is connected to a second shaft (4) via a second clutch, and a third shaft (5) is connected with a fourth shaft (6) by a third clutch (56). A sun gear of the first planetary gear set is connected to the housing. The drive shaft is connected to a sun gear of the second planetary gear set. An output shaft (2) is connected with a ring gear of the third planetary gear set and a web of the fourth planetary gear set.
