The method involves removing partial streams over counterflow washing with acetone concentration of a fluid under 57.5 volume percentage. Acetone is separated from biomass after the washing, and the separated acetone is guided in a flow direction of a fluid phase after supplying acetone-water fractions from the rectification. A partial stream with reduced acetone content of up to 10 volume percentage is removed from an output part of the rectification, and the washing is conducted at an area of same concentration.
