The wiper has a gripping section (1) connected with a wiper section (3) via a flexible element (2) that is designed as a solid rubber connector in a variable hardening level or as a flexible connection-and spring part. The arrangement of the flexible element in the gripping section forms a receiving space for a telescopic extension unit, where the flexible element produces hydraulic function. The flexible element is provided in an upper part of the wiper and comprises solid rubber, plastic or steel spring elements with conical ends.
