PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car which easily mounts car interior parts such as a handrail, a mirror and a load rail to a side plate from inside of a car. SOLUTION: This elevator car 10 elevating in a hoistway 18 includes a plurality of side plates 11, and a car interior part, for example, a mirror 21 is mounted to the side plate 11. The mirror 21 mounted to the side plate 11 has a plane part 21a opposed to the side plate 11, and an engagement mechanism 31 fixed to the outer side of the plane part 21a. Also, an opening 11a, in which the engagement mechanism 31 is inserted, is provided to the side plate 11, and a receiving mechanism 32 for receiving and locking the engagement mechanism 31 inserted in the opening 11a is provided near the bottom end of the opening 11a on the outer side of the side plate 11.
