<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the vibration of a VCM equipped with a spring return mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A driving circuit 100 drives a voice coil motor 110 equipped with a spring return mechanism. A drive current generator 10 supplies the coil L1 of the voice coil motor 110 with a drive current Idrv corresponding to a control signal S2. A voltage detector 20 detects a voltage Vc generated at one end P1 of the coil L1, and generates a detection signal S3 that shows the detected voltage Vc. A control part 30 generates a control signal S2, based on the target stroke volume of the voice coil motor 110 and the detection signal S3.
