<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting thrombosis that causes severe diseases such as myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction, immediately after the onset, and a reagent and a kit used for this method. <P>SOLUTION: A method for detecting the onset of thrombosis by measuring the concentration or activity of a substance released upon activation of platelets, particularly phosphoglucomutase 2 (PGM2) in a biological fluid as a marker, and a reagent and kit for the same are provided. As marker(s), one or more selected from the group consisting of plasminogen activator inhibitor I (PAI-I), platelet factor 4, and p-selectin may be used in combination. In measurement of PGM2, only PGM2 can be specifically and immediately measured with high sensitivity by using a solid phase having a first layer having a phosphoglucomutase 1 (PGM1) antibody immobilized thereon, and a second layer having a PGM2 antibody immobilized thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
