<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which an uneven structure (bumpy side trouble) is not generated in a side wall section due to the presence of a splice section of an inner liner layer. <P>SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes at least one ply of a carcass layer, both tire-circumferential end portions of which are lap-spliced with each other, and the inner liner layer having a thickness of 1.0 to 2.0 mm, both the tire circumferential end portions of which are lap-spliced with each other, which is disposed on the inner surface of the innermost layer of the carcass layer. In the pneumatic tire, the minimum rubber thickness of side wall portions of both right and left sides is 2.0 to 5.0 mm. A tape-shaped reinforcing material is disposed along the lap-spliced portion at the outer peripheral side of the lap-spliced portions of the inner liner layer or between the layers of the lap-spliced portions, or the lap-spliced portions of the carcass layer are superimposed on the lap-spliced portions of the inner liner layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
