<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge configured such that when a cartridge is taken out of the body of an image forming apparatus, a grip portion provided on a sealing member sealing a developer supply opening is made easy to operate; and to provide an image forming apparatus that uses the cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge includes: the sealing member by which the opening in the developer storage section of the cartridge is closed so as to be openable; and a grip member 160, which is provided on the sealing member and gripped to remove the sealing member from the opening in order to open the opening, the grip member 160 having a first position in which the grip member permits entry of the cartridge into the body of the apparatus in order to convey it with the cartridge kept attached to the body of the apparatus, and a second position in which the grip member restricts entry of the cartridge into the body of the apparatus by projecting toward the outside of a cartridge frame from the first position when the cartridge is detached from the body of the apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
