<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt which does not cause character missing in primary transfer. <P>SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic type image forming apparatus, a toner image formed on a photoreceptor is primarily transferred onto an intermediate transfer belt, and the intermediate transfer belt secondarily transfers the primarily transferred toner image onto an image forming medium being conveyed at a secondary transfer part. In the intermediate transfer belt, in the surface roughness of the intermediate transfer belt, the direction of parallel grooves of rough surface process of the surface is set to the range within angle 40°to 140°relative to a traveling direction of the belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
