CONTENT GENERATOR, CONTENT GENERATING METHOD, AND CONTENT GENERATING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content generator capable of automatically generating a content which presents important information from image information and voice in a lecture video at a small data quantity and is efficiently accessed by a user according to a topic which he/she wants to browse.

SOLUTION: An image area extraction part 12 segments out a screen area and a lecturer area from a lecture video. A video editing part 13 synthesizes the two areas to create a lecture video for public presentation. Moreover, a topic starting point detection part 14 detects a topic starting point from the screen area and the lecturer area, and a topic image generation part 16 generates a topic image representing a topic section. Then, a content generation part 17 generates a content where these information are unified. According to the arrangement, a user selects and reproduces his/her desired topic section, when the lecture video for public presentation is reproduced.
