<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an encoding device for achieving highly efficient coding; a decoding device; and an image processing program. <P>SOLUTION: The encoding device is achieved in such a way that a separating section 11 separates an adjacent pixel for a pixel signal per small region to generate two separated images, an orthogonal transformation coefficient weighting section 15 applies weighting to suppress propagation of high-order component of the orthogonal transformation coefficient to the orthogonal transformation coefficient of the pixel signal of the first separated image to generate a prediction signal of the second separated image, thereby generating a difference signal between the prediction signal and a pixel signal of the separated image obtained by the separating section 11, and a variable length-encoding section 18 variably encodes a signal for the first separated signal and a second quantizing section variably encodes the difference signal for the second separated signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
