<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging container capable of appropriately venting ethylene gas generating from vegetables and fruits to the outside of the container while a closed system is held. <P>SOLUTION: The food packaging container includes: a container body 1; and a lid body 10. The container body 1 includes: a body side fitting part consisting of a body side fitting bottom part 4; a body side fitting peripheral wall part 5; a body side fitting top face part 6; and a body side fitting folding-back part 7, and a flange part 8, on the upper part of a food storing part 2. The lid body includes: a top face part 11; a lid body side fitting peripheral wall part 12; a lid body side fitting top face part 13; a lid body side fitting folding-back part 14; and a flange part 15.
