PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film satisfactory in dimensional stability. SOLUTION: The release film includes a belt-shaped base material film, a first resin layer which is formed on one surface side of the base material film and composed mainly of a resin material, and a second resin layer which is formed on the other surface side of the base material film and composed mainly of a resin material. The dimensional change ratio of the release film measured before and after the film is heat-treated at 130°C for 10 min. is below 1.0% in the length direction and below 1.0% in the width direction.
