PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system which improves user convenience while reducing a server load. SOLUTION: The electronic mail system 1 is provided in which a master mail address of an electronic mail sender described in a transmission source address display field of electronic mail transmitted by the electronic mail sender is translated into another-name mail address and electronic mail is transmitted to an electronic mail recipient. The electronic mail system includes a transmission source replacement mail address extraction unit 22 and an address replacement unit 23. The transmission source replacement mail address extraction unit 22 extracts a transmission source replacement mail address from among at least one or more recipient mail addresses described in a transmission destination address display field of the electronic mail transmitted by the electronic mail sender and transmission source replacement mail addresses. The address replacement unit 23 replaces the transmission source replacement mail address extracted by the transmission source replacement mail address extraction unit, as the another-name mail address, with the master mail address described in the transmission source address display field of the electronic mail for the at least one or more recipient mail addresses described in the transmission destination address display field.
