PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric apparatus which diagnoses an abnormal increase in consumption current by using an existing port allocated to first and second setting switches in use of an LCD module where corrosion and insulation deterioration occur due to operational conditions and consumption current increases. SOLUTION: An electric apparatus 100 having a liquid crystal display means 120 and a plurality of setting means 50, 60 for setting inner data includes: a current detection means 110 which detects an increase in the consumption current of the liquid crystal display means 120 and changes an output signal of a plurality of setting means 50, 60 based on the detection signal; and a diagnosis means 132 which diagnoses an abnormal consumption current based on the output signal changed by the current detection means 110.
