PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a mesh model with high quality as the mesh model of a structural body including a plurality of layers. SOLUTION: An information processor is configured to carry out the mesh division of a prescribed region in a stratum with hexahedron elements whose size is 2<SP>n</SP>times as large as the basic size for each of the stratums of a ground model as the object of mesh model generation (S230). In this case, the mesh division is carried out in an aggregate unit including 8 pieces of hexahedron elements whose each side is the double size of the hexahedron elements. Also, as to the hexahedron elements facing a tetrahedron mesh generation object region whose mesh-vision has not been carried out with the hexahedron elements, it is replaced with a grid unit shaped like a hexahedron including the aggregate of the tetrahedron elements and pentahedron elements with the outer shape of the double size of the hexahedron element for each of 8 pieces of aggregates (S250). Then, in the tetrahedron mesh generation object region, nodes are set so that intervals can become gradually longer according as they go from the stratum divided with the hexahedron elements whose sizes are small to the stratum divided with the hexahedron elements whose sizes are large, so that a tetrahedron mesh can be generated.
